And here is the finished product!!!

 I suspect like most woodworkers we tend to save unused pieces. This is one of them.  Saved this piece from an upgrade in our pharmacy and couldn't throw it out.  Cut it to size but then had to recarve the opposite end.  It worked out and still have the other end to use for something else.

My friend is pleased and surprised and now my wife & I will have to drive out to install and hopefully she'll get to see and pet one of the horses.    I guess that's why we do this stuff.
