Old/New Wood

A Friend had given me 3 Walnut Logs about 14"D & 36" long and have had then over a year, but heavy for me to lift. Another friend has a log splitter and carefully split them to useable size. Next project for them will be to square one edge and then Band saw into useable stock. .. .. .. .. .. Finished the chair with broken spindle and it turned out great. the friend brought me a Small B/D bench grinder. Didn't expect anything but it was nice on his part. Most appreciate whatever help they get. .. .. .. .. .. Next fix is a music stand I made with bent laminated cherry. It was knocked down accidentally and broke some parts. The friend feels bad but is fixable (I think). Will tell later.
